Young Bohemia Festival and Competition for Choirs and Orchestras

Date: 21 March - 24 March 2024

Share your love of music with Choirs and Orchestras from all over the world in Prague

The city of Prague is magical and the friendly ambience of Prague as a festival venue is unique. Sometimes called the “City of a Hundred Spires”, Prague has opulent palaces, romantic castles and quaint churches. Spanning the River Vltava between the old and new quarters is the 14th century Charles Bridge – bustling with a busy throng of pedestrians, artists, puppeteers and musicians while the Old Town is a maze of cobbled streets running from Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square.

About Young Bohemia

Set in the city of a thousand spires, YoungBohemia was inaugurated in 2003 and is a firm favourite in the CCI schedule. 2024 looks set to maintain the proud tradition of its predecessors and is your chance to sing in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. This festival is one of the most culturally diverse and enjoyable European events for young musicians ages 8-26. Highlights include competing in spectacular venues such as the National House, performing in the historic St. Nicholas Church, sightseeing in Prague, an evening cruise on the Vltava River, and marching in a festive parade through the heart of the city.

Performance groups can participate in adjudicated or non-adjudicated sections. The friendly, cultural ambience of Prague as a venue is unique.
