The Venice Music Festival offers your choir the chance to see the beautiful city of Venice as well as performing for and with other international choirs in wonderful Venetian venues. For many, Venice is the most beautiful city in the world, and the city offers a fascinating array of architectural wealth and beauty. Since 1987 Venice and its lagoon have been on the UNESCO-list of cultural heritage sites.  The heart of Venice, the Piazza San Marco with the gorgeous Basilica, is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Sing with your choir in the beautiful surroundings of Venice and Jesolo and enjoy guided visits to Venice, Verona and Lake Garda.

Performance Details

Festival Concert Programme (Jesolo):

Performance 25 to 30 minutes duration with free programme.  A maximum of 30 minutes presence on the stage.

 

Joint Concert Programme (Venice):

1-2 songs and max. 6 minutes of Christian sacred music without piano accompaniment

Tour Manager

A CCI Tour Manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your booking, to assist in the pre-departure preparations and to assist with any issues during your stay. The tour manager does not travel with the group.

Transportation While in Italy

Choirs usually make their way around the city via public transport. However, we can arrange coach transportation for your group as required.  We do recommend that large choirs consider hiring of coaches.  This can be decided closer to your travel date when you know the schedule of rehearsal, concert performance and joint concert.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

  • Arrival
Day 2
  • Enjoy breakfast in your hotel
  • Head off on one of the optional excursions
  • Choir participate in a concert with other participating choirs where each choir sings one or two songs.
Day 3
  • Meet with the conductors for rehearsal in the morning
  • Perform in the festival concert in Jeselo in the evening
  • Concert programme: performance 30-45 minutes duration
Day 4
  • Enjoy breakfast in your hotel
  • Head off on another of the optional excursions
  • All groups come together in Venice for concert of all participating choirs which will take place in the Chiesa Santa Maria Della Pieta.
Day 5
  • Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and depart.
  • There is also the option of a 3-night stay itinerary.
