Tour Manager

A CCI Tour Manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your booking, to assist in the pre-departure preparations and to assist with any issues during your stay. The tour manager does not travel with the group.


 Transportation While in Salzburg

Choirs can reach the concert venues by subway (or public bus) from the hotel or we can offer optional coach transfers.  We recommend that larger groups consider the use of a coach for the transfers

Day 1

  • Day of arrival
  • Opening evening of the Choir/Music Festival
  • Meet their local assistant at the hotel
  • In the evening opening of the Festival at the "Stieglkeller", a traditional restaurant at the foot of the fortress Hohensalzburg
  • First introduction of the participants
  • Dinner at a restaurant
  • Meeting with the Artistic Director of the Festival.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2
  • City walking tour
  • Rehearsals
  • Festival Concert
  • Breakfast at your hotel
  • Meet with a local guide
  • 2.5 hour walking tour of the Old Town of Salzburg
  • Rehearsals of all festival participants 
  • Early dinner at a local Restaurant
  • Festival Concert of the International Cantus Music and Culture Festival & Choir Festival
  • All participating groups will present a common piece the “Song of peace”
  • Gala Concert
  • Overnight stay at your hotel
Day 3
  • Ecumenical mass at the Salzburg Cathedral
  • Excursion to the province of Salzburg
  • Closing of the Choir/Music Festival
  • Breakfast at your hotel
  • Meeting of all participating groups
  • Ecumenical mass celebration service
  • Musical presentation by the attending music groups at the Salzburg Cathedral
  • Open-air concerts on one of the town squares or at the Mirabell Garden in Salzburg.
