22 March - 25 March 2029
The internationally acclaimed YoungBohemia Prague Festival has been welcoming choirs and orchestras to the heart of Europe since 2003. Now one of the most culturally diverse youth music festivals in Europe, it brings together thousands of young musicians (ages 8–26) from across the globe each year.
This inspiring four-day festival offers choirs and orchestras the opportunity to showcase their talent and skill while forming friendships and celebrating cultural exchange in one of Europe’s most beautiful and historic cities. Participants experience a rich programme of events hosted by Prague city officials, including opening and closing ceremonies, get-together concerts and social gatherings.
Highlights include performing in prestigious venues such as the National House and the historic St. Nicholas Church, sightseeing in Prague, enjoying an evening cruise on the Vltava River, and marching in a festive parade through the heart of the city. Groups may choose to compete in the adjudicated category or participate in the non-competitive festival section. Whether competing or simply performing, YoungBohemia promises a memorable, inspiring and educational musical experience — and your choir or orchestra can become part of Prague’s proud musical heritage.
