Mouv'ton Choeur Choral Festival

This will bring international groups together and choirs so they can meet, discuss & perform in both classic & unusual locations across Aix-les-Bains and Chambéry cities.

Musical performances will be skilfully choreographed to produce energy driven performances that will delight both performers & audiences alike.

 

Aix-les-Bains is a spa resort in Savoie between Annecy and Chambéry in the French Alps. This area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and other sites to see such as Théatre Dullin, Place St Léger, Casino Grand Cercle and more.

 

The attractions of Savoie area are many historical, artistic and gastronomic. Dynamic region throughout the year, you will find tours that will make you appreciate this region and its inhabitants. We can organize city tours, monuments and churches, as well as visits to cheese factories or other local specialties.

 

 

Arrival by your own in Savoie and accommodation at hotel.

Afternoon: Balance son for the evening concert (if your performance is organized this evening)

Evening: Opening ceremony in Chambéry with a 1hour concert per choir (approximatively) – 2 choirs in total

Transfer with your coach in case the hotel is located far away from the city-centre.

Dinner. Accommodation.

 

Breakfast.

Morning: meet the official guide for the guided visit of Aix-les-Bains (with your coach) or Chambéry.

Free lunchtime.

Afternoon: 2 x concert in an outdoor place (15/20 min per performance).

Free dinnertime.

Transfer go & return with your coach if your hotel is far away from the city centre.

Evening: concert of your group in a hall (duration: between 45 & 60 minutes, according to the final number of registered groups)

Accommodation.

 

Breakfast.

End of morning or beginning of afternoon, meeting of all groups: performance (duration 20 minutes maximum per group, followed by 1 common song) with a friendly meet & greet. End of services and back to your home.

 

 

Program, schedule, hours and halls & places of concerts of your group will depend upon the number of registered choirs.

 

 The Halls and hotels will be twice in Chambéry and in Aix-les-Bains. This great new concept is open to all choirs and musical groups and has been created by the sparkling Choir Director Marie-Françoise Grasset & her “Air Accords” Association.

Come and show off your choral & musical talent by showcasing in two or three concerts in front of a warm & generous audience in the Savoie region. Share your happiness of singing and move in music with other groups.

Basis 2 nights/3 days:

- 2 nights in Bed & breakfast from Friday 29.03.2019 to Sunday 31.03.2019, each room with bath or shower and toilets in a hotel in Aix-les-Bains, Chambéry or close surroundings – upon disponibility

- 1 dinner on 1rst evening (Drinks NOT included)

- An English speaking and official guide for the guided visit of Aix-les-Bains or Chambéry (2h00)

- Participation to the Festival includes:

* Registration to the Association Accords d’Airs (50€ to be paid at the moment of                registration)

* 1 opening evening on Friday with officials of the city and their representants (we  

   need 100 participants minimum)

* 1 concert in an unusual place (upon request and according to availability)

* 1 evening concert (45 à 60 minutes) in a hall in Chambéry or Aix-les-Bains

* balance-sons before each concert

* Meeting of all the choirs with a short performance 15/20 minutes each choir,

   followed by a meet & greet glass

- Possibility of watching to another group

- 1 free pax in ½ double room each 25 paying

The arrival and departure to/from Val Pusteria are to be carried out independently. Depending on your travel arrangements we will be happy to assist you with booking ground transportation (local Italian coach) to/from the airports for example in Innsbruck, Munich or Venice and during the festival.

The Mouv’ton Choeur festival will be repeated each year in the spring.

Time during the stay will be dedicated to tourism and discovery of the two towns and surrounding areas.

 

Choirs can reach the concert venues by subway(or public bus) from the hotel or we can offer optional coach transfers. We recommend that larger groups consider the use of a coach for the transfers.

Once you enquire with CCI you will be given your own dedicated festival planner, and this planner will also assist you with the booking of flights for your group.
