The Adriatic Pearl International Choir Festival & Competition takes place in the stunning coastal city of Dubrovnik, one of Europe’s most breathtaking cultural destinations. Held every two years, this festival brings together choirs from across the world for a unique combination of performance, competition and cultural exchange.
Over four days, choirs have the opportunity to perform in a variety of festival events, including concerts, competitions, and shared musical experiences with international ensembles. The festival programme includes an opening concert, choir parade, competition performances and awards ceremony, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere throughout.
Each day of this choral is filled with music opportunities and sightseeing. Croatia is well known for its beautiful scenery from Dubrovnik as it’s a beautiful city on the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia. The Game of Thrones tv show was filmed here on some of its best scenes. Thousands of visitors visit here in the summer Dubrovnik is one big historical site in its entirety. Walk the Walls of Dubrovnik, visit Korcula Island and explore St. John's Fortress. The journey never ends in Croatia.
In addition to performing, choirs can take part in evaluation performances, individual coaching sessions and friendship concerts, offering valuable artistic development and the chance to connect with other musicians. Set against the backdrop of Dubrovnik’s historic Old Town and Adriatic coastline, this festival offers an unforgettable musical and cultural experience.

Evaluation Performances | For Non-Competing Choirs
Three pieces of the choir’s own choice, perform before a panel of qualified international jurors who provide prompt positive artistic and pedagogical feedback, certificates of participation are awarded, as well as evaluation ratings and recommendation letters upon request.

Present your competition programmme before the competition, perform before a panel of qualified international jurors who provide prompt positive artistic and pedagogical feedback, evaluation will not influence competition results.

Individual Coaching | For all Choirs
Rehearse with an internationally acclaimed choral expert for stimulating artistic and interpretive guidance. For an effective rehearsal, choirs are asked to prepare one piece in advance.

- Approx: 45 minutes
Frienship Concerts | For all Choirs
Perform in concerts together with other international choirs. Friendship Concerts give choirs the opportunity to get acquainted with each other and to provide enjoyable entertainment and time in a friendly atmosphere. We advise you to select your programme in this spirit. Choirs may opt to participate in Friendship Concerts ONLY.

- Singing time: Maximum 20 minutes
- Accompaniment: Allowed (piano or e-piano can be provided upon request)

Choirs usually make their way around the region with the local guide via public transport. However, we can arrange private coach transportation for your group as required.
