The Misatango Festival offers you and your choir the opportunity to sing Misa a Buenos Aires (Misatango) together with the Argentinian composer Martín Palmeri and choirs from all over the world in one the most wonderful venues in Paris 2025. Perform the Misatango at world famous Grand Amphitheatre at Sorbonnne University Sing and conduct your own choir on stage at the “Night of the Choirs” concert in Paris at famous St Roch Church.
The Misatango Festival comprises rehearsal and performance of Misatango as well as accommodation and catering. Please check our schedule for all the details. The concert in the Wiener Konzerthaus offers each choir an individual appearance in the first part of the concert, the second half of the concert is defined by the performance of Misatango.
Both, composer Martìn Palmeri and conductor Saul Zaks were born in Buenos Aires and have been friends for a long time, both are renowned artist and have been awarded prizes and accolades for their work. Together with Martín and Saul you will rehearse and perform for the audience in Paris.

Composer & Conductor
Martín Palmeri - composer, pianist, choir and orchestra conductor
Martín Palmeri is an Argentine composer, conductor, and pianist, renowned for his contributions to contemporary classical and tango music. Born in Buenos Aires, Palmeri's work blends classical forms with the rich traditions of Argentine tango, creating a unique fusion of genres. He is best known for his composition Misa a Buenos Aires, a work that combines elements of the Latin Mass with the rhythms and harmonies of tango, which has gained international acclaim. Palmeri's musical style is characterized by emotional depth, rhythmic complexity, and a vivid use of orchestration, which has earned him recognition as a leading figure in the Argentine music scene. In addition to his composition work, Palmeri has also performed as a pianist and conductor, further solidifying his influence in both the classical and tango communities.
Saul Zaks - conductor and artistic director
Saul Zaks is an Argentine conductor, composer, and educator, recognized for his significant contributions to both classical and tango music. Born in Buenos Aires, Zaks has built a distinguished career as a conductor, working with numerous orchestras and ensembles around the world. His expertise spans a wide range of musical genres, but he is particularly noted for his work in the tango genre, collaborating with prominent tango artists and ensembles. As a composer, Zaks is known for incorporating elements of traditional Argentine music into contemporary classical frameworks, creating a bridge between these distinct musical worlds. The Grand Amphitheatre of Sorbonne University - Paris
True to the Sorbonne’s enduring reputation as a centre of studies and intellectual activities, the Grand Amphitheatre is the venue today for many academic and non-academic events, whether national or international.
It provides a platform for official speeches as well as being a place of thought and discussion for many foundations, organisations and private or public institutions. Numerous conferences, symposiums as well as concerts are held here all year long.

Please note that VIP Patrons may travel with their ensemble or make their own individual travel arrangement. VIP Patron participation is optional. Non-performers are welcome to purchase concert tickets separately, however admittance to rehearsals, dress rehearsals & post-concert Reception
is not possible without a full VIP Patron registration.
Tour Manager
A CCI Tour Manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your booking, to assist in the pre-departure preparations and to assist with any issues during your stay. The tour manager does not travel with the group.
Transportation While in Paris
Choirs can reach the concert venues by subway (or public bus) from the hotel or we can offer optional coach transfers. We recommend that larger groups consider the use of a coach for the transfers.
