The Republic of San Marino, with an area of only 61 kmq, is situated between the Italian regions of Romagna and Marche, only a few kilometers from the Adriatic sea costa. According to the legend, San Marino was founded in 301 A.D. by Dalmatian stonemason Marino. He came here to hide from the Roman emperor Dioklecian in the period of Christian persecution. Since that time this small state has been proud of its liberty and in the past being able to constantly defend its independence. Its territory is partly dominated by limesteone hills and Mount Titan (738m) on which stands the capital San Marino, a picturesque town protected by walls and castles that dominate from above the surrounding regions. Thousands of visitors flock there every year in San Marino to visit the narrow streets and its famous towers at the top where you can catch a magnificent view from this natural balcony on Italy. The Republic of San Marino is not only one of the smallest but also the world`s oldest republic in the world.

During the International Choir Festival “Cantate Adriatica” will be expanded for four days harmonious musical notes with international nuances. The festival offers you the chance to discover the beauty of the Adriatic coast and the hinterland of Romagna and the Marche through the friendship concerts that take place Friday night at the same time in different places such as San Marino, Rimini, Cesenatico, Cesena,…

The most spectacular moment of the event is surely the final concert Saturday afternoon at the “Teatro Titano” of San Marino, which is ideal for an international meeting and without borders, where all the choirs will perform one by one. And finally, the participating choirs will sing the “Va pensiero” di Giuseppe Verdi.

Tour Manager

A CCI Tour Manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your booking, to assist in the pre-departure preparations and to assist with any issues during your stay. The tour manager does not travel with the group.

Choirs usually make their way around the region with the local guide via public transport. However, we can arrange coach transportation for your group as required.

  • After dinner – free time
Day 2
  • Breakfast in hotel
  • Departure for Pesaro
  • After the visit of Pesaro drive to Gradara
  • Lunch in a restaurant together with the other participating choirs
  • After lunch you can visit the enchanting medieval castle of Gradara
  • Then return to your hotel
  • Afternoon preparation for the concert
  • Rehearsal in the hotel

  • Departure for the friendship concert
Day 3

  • Walking tour of the streets and the walls of the medieval town
