The International Verona Choir Competition brings together amateur choirs from across the world for a celebration of choral music in one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. Organised in cooperation with the Association Gruppi Corali Veronesi, the festival offers choirs the opportunity to meet other international ensembles and perform in prestigious venues throughout Verona.
During the festival, choirs take part in concerts, competition performances and cultural activities while enjoying time to explore the surrounding region, including nearby Lake Garda, one of Italy’s most scenic destinations.

Tour Manager
A CCI Tour Manager will be assigned to you for the duration of your booking, to assist in the pre-departure preparations and to assist with any issues during your stay.
Transportation While in Italy
Choirs usually make their way around the city with the local guide via public transport. However, we can arrange private coach transportation for your group as required.
Sample Tour Itinerary - Verona 2027!
Day 1 - Arrival in Italy
Arrive in northern Italy and transfer to your hotel in the Lake Garda region.
Meet your local festival guide and enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding area before the festival begins.
In the evening, transfer to Verona to attend the festival opening ceremony and opening concert.
Return to the hotel.
Breakfast at hotel.
Enjoy a day exploring the region or take an optional excursion around Lake Garda.
Optional guided tours of Verona may also be arranged.
Free evening.

Transfer to Verona where choirs take part in the competition performances.
Enjoy free time to explore Verona’s historic centre, including landmarks such as the Arena di Verona, Piazza delle Erbe and Juliet’s Balcony.

Choir directors attend a festival reception.
Later, all choirs gather for the closing ceremony and final concert, celebrating the achievements of the festival.
The evening concludes with a festival reception and social gathering with choirs from around the world.
