Lake Garda is known for its picturesque villages, medieval castles, and lakeside promenades which dot the shoreline. The lake has a distinct landscape with beaches along the southern shores and rocky cliffs above the northern shoreline. Lake Garda is known for its crystal clear water, perfect for swimming in summer. It is also the largest Lake in Italy. There are many water sport activities to be explored. Why not try windsurfing, sailing, and hiking in the lake's many parks?

Spend an exceptional weekend with your choir at the beautiful Lake Garda. Visit Verona, one of the most beautiful cities of Italy. The city once inspired Shakespeare to the world-famous love story of Romeo and Juliet. Visit Modena that will not only amaze you because of its architectural sights. 
The Modena Cathedral, the Torre Civica and the Piazza Grande have been declared as  UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites since 1997.
Modena is also the Mecca for lovers of beautiful and fast cars. The famous car manufacturers Maserati, Pagani and especially Ferrari are at home here.The arranged program also includes a visit of the Automobile Exhibition “Galleria Ferrari” in Maranello.

Our suggested program for your choir tour
Thursday: arrival day
Arrive at your hotel at the Lake Garda (southern part), welcome-drink and dinner.

Friday: excursion to Verona
Breakfast at your hotel
Afterwards depart for an excursion to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, including a city walking tour (2 hours). The tour begins at the Piazza Bra with the Verona Arena, built in the year 30 A.D. Following the Coliseum in Rome the Verona Arena is the best-preserved and the world´s second largest amphitheater.
The historical Old Town begins at the Piazza Bra with its narrow streets and venerable patrician houses. Worth seeing in particular is the Piazza delle Erbe, the center of the mediaval city – marketplace, shopping area and forum, surrounded by palaces, magnificent town houses, towers. The old well located in the center of Verona´s landmark and the Roman statue “Madonna Verona” is a general meeting point. Enjoy the busy market life at the Piazza delle Erbe. The Piazza dei Signori with a statue of Dante is only a few steps away. Close nearby you can find the House of Juliet, the “Casa di Giulietta”. The house with the famous balcony were Romeo and Juliet swore eternal love to each other, attracts numerous visitors from all over the world each year.
Moreover you will visit the impressive burial grounds of the Scaligeri family, a significant and Veronese ruling family and the church of San Zeno. Take time for a cappuccino at one of the numerous city cafes and enjoy the bustling life in one of the most attractive cities in Italy.
In the later afternoon return back to the Lake Garda and stop over for awine or oil tasting along the way.

Saturday: excursion to Modena
Depart for the excursion to Modena after breakfast.
Modena is something like the “ideal city”: masterpieces of architecture, declared as UNECO World Cultural Heritage Site, ancient palaces, narrow lanes, the famous Piazza Grande with the magnificent Dome and bell tower “Torre Ghirlandina” combined with excellent cuisine and varied cultural events, create the perfect mixture of modern life and cultivating tradition. Spend free time on your own to explore the characteristic squares and lanes of this beautiful city before enjoying a rich lunch buffet including specialties from Modena.
Modena is well known all over the world especially for its famous car manufacturers: Maserati, Pagani and above all Ferrari, with its headquarters located in the nearby Maranello. And this is where your tour continues to!
After a short coach ride you will reach Maranello and visit the “Galleria Ferrari”, the automobile exhibition, which is located right next to the factory of the most famous car manufacturer of the world. You will be guided through the world of Ferrari and can admire the dream cars from old timers to the most modern car models.
Finally we will present the famous and traditional Balsamic vinegar from Modena to you: an ancient vinegar producer will open the doors for you to present this extraordinary elixir made of boiled grape must that reaches its exceptional quality only after long storage in wooden barrels. A sample tasting is included, of course.

Return back to your hotel at the Lake Garda. Dinner at the hotel and time at leisure at the Lake Garda.

Sunday: Departure
Check-out after breakfast and depart the Lake Garda or extend your stay
(The Lake Garda is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions for example to Venice, to the Lake District of Northern Italy and Milan)
